Old Scholars

All past and present pupils along with their families are welcome to join us at our Founders Day Reunion which takes place one Sunday afternoon during the summer.  A family service is held at the Royal Chapel followed by refreshments and tea, at the Royal School.   The afternoon is a great chance to catch up with old friends, reminisce and enjoy the school and gardens!!  It is a great opportunity to see how the school has changed, such as The Vinery Hall, the Early Years outside play area, the Schroder Lodge Sun Shade, Children’s Trim Trail, the renovated library/kitchen that is now a new class and our Scholars Walk and Wall, a personalised bricked pathway by the main hall entrance, which is a lasting tribute by those who have attended the school.  This annual event also displays all the past school photographs held by the school which are a fantastic historical record of the school.
Please contact us if you would like to:

Become a member (small annual subscription payable) or attend the annual reunion if you have not attended in the last few years, (invites automatically sent to those who have attended in the last two years) please contact us.

Receive communication from the Old Scholars Association including those not currently receiving an e-mail invitation each April.

Become a member of the RSOSA Committee, this involves a yearly meeting to arrange the Reunion at the school one evening in the Spring and then helping out on the reunion day.  (Such as setting up at 1pm, baking cakes and the final tidy up at the end of the day!) Perhaps you are a parent of an Old Scholar and feel that you would like to help! Any assistance is very welcome

Keep up to date with the old scholars via our facebook page!  You can also keep up to date with us and attend all the school PTA organised events, such as their Summer Event/Ball, Phil the Bag Fundraiser and annual Great Park walk via this website.

Any questions please call the school office and we will pass your contact details to The Old Scholars committee.
