Thank you for all of the wonderful gifts and cards.  We wish you all a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you back in school on 10th January 2022

Best wishes

The staff of The Royal School

The children in Swans and Owls gave two carol concerts this year.  The first one, for their parents in the school hall. The second concert was for the ladies of the Women’s Institute in The Royal Chapel.  They sang beautifully and were fantastic representatives of the school.

We hope you all enjoyed the nativity this year.  The children had lots of fun putting it together and retelling the story of the first Christmas.

We went to the pantomime!

Everyone had a fantastic time at the pantomime in Windsor

Let it snow!

It didn’t snow on the day but we had all sorts of activities and learning based around the story “The Snowman”.  It was great to wear pyjamas or comfy clothes to school, to make snowman biscuits and listen to Miss Reade tell the snowman story.

The teaching staff decorated the Robin’s classroom and we had a special Christmas Assembly in the classroom.
Over the last three weeks the children have been involved in a secret project.  Each child took home a small gift wrapped in purple paper for their family over the last two days.   Some of the children have kept the contents of the presents secret and are not intending to tell parents until Christmas Day.  To help those who are still keeping the secret I will not put the photographs and video that we have of the process on this newsletter.  In the few days after Christmas I will add video and photographs to the school web page for you all to look at.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” – Romans 15:13

Merry Christmas!
