At The Royal School, we use experiential and hands-on learning wherever possible; our intent is to inspire in our pupils a curiosity to know more about the past and to link this to the present and future. Through the use of artifacts, drama, trips and excursions around the local and wider area, pupils practice critical thinking, weighing evidence and sifting arguments, and we promote the asking of perceptive questions that develop perspective and judgement.  We have a small school museum that has documents, photographs and artifacts linked to the history of the school and all classes make use of this museum at times.
